Experience: Internship
Worked as a young construction manager and a laborer for 3 weeks at Framecore construction company in Cape Town. Also, finished my UCT Community build.
Luthando Shezi

My name is Luthando Shezi. I am a first year student in Construction Studies at UCT. I am quite interested about the construction industry. Enjoy teamwork and partaking in challenging activities.
Experience:Internship
Worked as an assistant construction manager for 3 weeks at Bitprop. Also participated in the 2021 Xmas CEM Community Build.

My name is Lesiba Sakeng. I’m am second year student in Construction Studies.
I am a dedicated and confident team player who enjoys solving problems and working with others. I am committed to pursuing a career as a Construction Project Manager.
Sambesiwe Xotyeni
Royal Blue Team Member
I am a second-year student. I got introduced to construction through a conversation with my father in Grade 8, he mentioned the different types buildings and infrastructure and how the final product is achieved through the combination of different teams involved in construction to build. I have been doing research since and asking around, this was to aid in choosing subjects that would allow me into the fields of construction.
I chose the field of the BSc in Construction Studies because it offered the broader aspect of construction, it combined accountancy, law, engineering and management of construction. I would like to see infrastructural and building growth in the rural areas of South Africa.
Zama Duma

I am a student at the University of Cape Town studying Bsc in Construction Studies. I aim to be apart of many projects such as the the Lawula and BlueMoons projects that help communities build safer and better housing for the communities that are less fortunate. As a second year student I am diligent fast learner that always perserveres and I am that much closer to being part of many more projects once i obtain my degree.

My name is Zubair Dollie. I’m a 3rd year student for a BSc in Construction Studies at the University of Cape Town. I thrive in teamwork driven environments, and I work confidently as a leader and that is why I would like to pursue becoming a construction manager.
