CEM XMAS Community Build

The University of Cape Town holds at least one Community Build annually as part of the department's practical training courses, which is compulsory for all students to be apart of at least once.

This is an outreach programme that also aims to help struggling communities have better and more sustainable housing while also providing construction studies students with physical and practical experience, giving them an opportunity to apply the theory learnt in class
